For the first time, SC kelag Ferlach has home advantage in the quarter-final, on 2 May at 19:00. The opponents are reigning champions UHK Krems.
It hardly gets any tougher than that. But in the regular season the team won 28:26 at home.
The team is building on that for the quarter-final too.
Florian Ploner: “For the first time we have home advantage, and with it the chance to crown our season by reaching the semi-final.
We simply have to seize it. With the help of our fans we want to – and will – topple the title holders. To do that, for
60 minutes we will forget all our aches and pains and leave our whole heart on the court.”
So the Ferlach team is burning for this match. Of course, they know all about the strengths of the Lower Austrians and are hoping for a full house.
